A continuation of my performative research on objectification. This project was informed by the unexpected feeling of empowerment that I experienced during the times that I had dressed up and acted an object in public. This thought lead me to find where I had chosen to objectify myself in life, and what benefits it had given me. I became interested in the idea of self-sacrificing and questioning where it is for the benefit of the receiver and where it is unconsciously alleviating anxiety and fears in the giver. Informed by behavioural habits and coping mechanisms I have taught myself, I developed these three performances over the years of 2022 and 2023. These performances took place at the Hill Side Community Cafe in Nunhead, at the Munich Jewellery Week Hub, and at The Blue Posts in Soho.
